Our verdict

6.6
/ 10

The OOTD T10 ($499.98 as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change) packs an 864 Wh battery, 11-inch tubeless off-road tires, spring suspension at both ends and disc brakes front and rear into a scooter that ships limited to 15.5 mph and unlocks to 31 mph. We estimate 32 to 39 miles a charge in its 21.5 mph mode. Three things hold it back: OOTD sells only in Europe, so its written 2-year warranty does not cover Amazon buyers in the US; the listing makes no UL 2272 claim; and its motor is quoted as 900 W, 745 W and 500 W peak in different places. At 62 lb it is a heavy scooter for adults 5 ft 3 in and taller.

The numbers

OOTD T10 Electric Scooter is a folding electric scooter for riders 18 and up that scores 6.6/10 on our editorial rubric, last verified on October 21, 2026. Amazon listed it at $500 as of October 22, 2026. Prices change often, so treat that as a snapshot. On Amazon it currently ranks #44 Best Seller in Electric Scooters. It pairs an 864 Wh battery, rated for a claimed range of up to 28 miles and a top speed of 15.5 mph. Its 15.5 mph top speed as shipped is above California's 15 mph scooter limit, so California riders must hold it to 15. It is under New Jersey's 19 mph line for a legal e-scooter. It is under New York's 20 mph e-scooter limit. An app or settings unlock raises it to 31 mph, which is above New York's 20 mph e-scooter line. Scooters are not e-bikes, so the US e-bike classes do not apply. The scooter weighs 62 lb and is rated for riders up to 265 lb. It rides on 11-inch tubeless tires, with dual suspension and front and rear mechanical disc brakes (140 mm) with power cut-off. Neither the listing nor the maker states UL 2272 certification. It best suits adults who want maximum battery and suspension for the price.

  • + 11-inch tubeless off-road tires and spring suspension at both ends

  • + Ships limited to 15.5 mph, under the New York and New Jersey lines until unlocked
  • + Long deck and about 20 cm of ground clearance for rough paths

Cons

  • - OOTD's written warranty covers only buyers from its EU and UK store; US support runs through the Amazon seller
  • - No UL 2272 claim on this listing
  • - Motor quoted as 900 W, 745 W and 500 W peak in different places, none labelled rated
  • - 62 lb, and IP54 only
  • - The 31 mph unlocked mode is above every US state e-scooter limit we cite

Who is this for?

  • Adults who want maximum battery and suspension for the price
  • Rough paths, gravel and private land
  • Riders 5 ft 3 in or taller who can roll rather than carry a 62 lb scooter

What the OOTD T10 is, and who makes it

The T10 is a large, dual-suspension scooter: a 48 V, 18 Ah battery (864 Wh by our arithmetic) built from 21700 cells, 11-inch tubeless hybrid off-road tires on 6.5-inch rims, spring suspension on aluminum swing arms front and rear, 140 mm mechanical disc brakes at both wheels, a dual-LED headlight, turn signals and a large digital display, per the maker's store and manual. It sat #45 in Amazon's Electric Scooters on October 21, 2026, with 4.2 stars from 186 ratings.

OOTD is a Shenzhen-based brand whose own store ships only to the EU and the UK, priced in euros from a Polish warehouse. We found no US store, so Amazon is the only US channel, and any warranty promise there comes from whoever sells it. That matters, below.

Speed, power and where you can ride it

The T10 ships with a limiter at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). The listing describes three modes of 15.5, 21.5 and 31 mph, and the higher two need an unlock the seller explains in a video; OOTD itself lists 25 km/h as the default and 50 km/h (31 mph) unlocked. As shipped, it sits under New York's 20 mph e-scooter line (VTL §114-e) and New Jersey's 19 mph, and just over California's 15 mph limit (Vehicle Code §22411). Unlocked to 31 mph it is past every one of those lines, and in August 2026 New York City sent cease-and-desist orders to 42 online retailers, Amazon among them, over stand-up scooters that can exceed 20 mph. Keep the unlocked speed for private land. Scooters are not e-bikes, so the US e-bike classes do not apply, and Pennsylvania does not allow e-scooters on public roads.

The motor is where the T10's paperwork falls apart. The maker store and this Amazon listing say 900 W, with no rated or peak label. The maker's own manual, written for the 13.5 Ah European version, says "Peak power 500w". A twin Amazon listing says 745 W. We publish none of them as a rating. The climb claim varies too: 25° on the maker store, which is about a 47% grade, against "slopes up to 35°" on Amazon.

Battery and real range

OOTD gives four range figures for the 18 Ah version: 60 to 80 km (37 to 50 miles) in its headline, 45 to 60 km (28 to 37 miles) on its spec table, up to 80 km (49.7 miles) in limited mode with a 60 kg (132 lb) rider, and 45 km (28 miles) unlocked with an 80 kg (176 lb) rider. The Amazon listing's "true 46 miles" only fits the lightest-rider, slowest-mode case. We estimate range by dividing battery capacity by 22 to 27 watt-hours per mile, a band taken from published full-speed tests of scooters up to about 24 mph and adjusted to a 175 to 180 lb rider. For 864 Wh that is about 32 to 39 miles in the 21.5 mph mode. At 62 lb on hybrid off-road 11-inch tires the T10 will sit toward the low end. We give no estimate at 31 mph, above the speeds our band comes from; OOTD's own unlocked figure is 28 miles with a 176 lb rider, so expect no more than that at a sustained 31 mph. Charging takes 6 to 7 hours on the 54.6 V, 3 A charger.

Ride, brakes and build

On paper the T10 has a better chassis than most scooters at this price. The 11-inch tubeless tires and swing-arm springs at both ends (OOTD labels the springs 2,300 and 2,200 lb without saying what that measures; it is not the load limit) soak up rough pavement and gravel, and ground clearance is about 20 cm. Mechanical disc brakes at both wheels cut motor power when you brake. The deck is long, 47 x 21 cm plus a small rear deck, and the handlebar height is fixed. It weighs 62 lb, folds to 49.6 x 26.2 x 22.8 in, and carries up to 265 lb. OOTD rates it IP54 on its store, splash resistance only, and its manual says IPX5; treat it as a dry-weather scooter. There is no app or Bluetooth.

Safety, warranty and recalls

This listing makes no UL 2272 claim. OOTD lists the European scooter standard EN 17128 (CE) for the T10 and IEC 62133 for its battery, but publishes no certificate, and a twin Amazon listing says "UL 2272 certified" without naming a lab. We found no UL certificate. That matters in New York City, where Local Law 39 requires UL 2272 for e-scooters sold there, and in California, where SB 1271 has required UL 2272 battery testing for motorized scooters sold there since January 1, 2026. No CPSC recall found for OOTD as of October 2026.

The warranty is the bigger catch. OOTD's written policy gives 2 years on manufacturing defects, but only to the original buyer from its own website, which does not sell to the US. The Amazon listing promises "2-year frame protection plus 1-year coverage on key electrical components"; that promise comes from the seller, so keep your Amazon order details and use Amazon's own return window to check the scooter over.

How it compares

  • KuKirin G2 ($599 as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change): a smaller 748.8 Wh battery and 10-inch tires, but a stated 800 W rated motor, a 28 mph top speed, 57 lb, and a maker-authorized US store with a 12-month warranty.
  • Segway ZT3 Pro ($799.99 as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change): the branded all-terrain alternative, with 11-inch tubeless off-road tires, a 1,600 W peak motor, 24.9 mph and US support, at 65.5 lb.
  • Segway Max G3 ($999.99 as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change): ships at 20 mph with a 28 mph app unlock, hydraulic suspension at both ends, IPX6, and UL 2272 testing Segway attributes to TÜV Rheinland, with a smaller 597 Wh battery.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

Buy the T10 if you want the biggest battery and the most suspension you can get for about $499.98 (as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change), you are an adult 5 ft 3 in or taller, you ride rough paths or private land, and you can live with support that runs through an Amazon seller. Skip it if you need UL 2272 for a New York City building or California, want a maker that sells and supports in the US, carry your scooter upstairs (62 lb), or ride in the rain. The KuKirin G2 is the nearest alternative with a US store behind it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the OOTD T10 top speed?

It ships limited to 15.5 mph (25 km/h). The listing describes 21.5 and 31 mph modes that the rider unlocks, and OOTD lists 50 km/h (31 mph) unlocked. As shipped it is under New York's 20 mph and New Jersey's 19 mph e-scooter lines and just over California's 15 mph limit; unlocked to 31 mph it is above all of them, so keep that for private land.

How far can the OOTD T10 go on a charge?

We estimate about 32 to 39 miles in the 21.5 mph mode for a 175 to 180 lb rider, by dividing the 864 Wh battery by 22 to 27 watt-hours per mile. OOTD's own figures are 28 to 37 miles on its spec table, up to 49.7 miles at 15.5 mph with a 132 lb rider, and 28 miles unlocked with a 176 lb rider. Amazon's "true 46 miles" only fits that lightest, slowest case.

Does the OOTD T10 have a US warranty?

Not from OOTD directly. OOTD's written 2-year warranty covers the original buyer from its own website, which ships only to the EU and UK. The Amazon listing promises 2 years on the frame and 1 year on key electrical parts, which comes from the seller. Keep your order details and use Amazon's return window to check the scooter.

Is the OOTD T10 UL certified?

This listing makes no UL 2272 claim. OOTD lists the European standard EN 17128 (CE) for it and IEC 62133 for its battery, but publishes no certificate, and a twin Amazon listing says "UL 2272 certified" without naming a lab. We found no UL certificate. New York City requires UL 2272 for e-scooters sold there. No CPSC recall found for OOTD as of October 2026.

How powerful is the OOTD T10 motor?

It depends on where you read it. The maker store and this Amazon listing say 900 W, the maker's manual for the 13.5 Ah European version says "Peak power 500w", and a twin Amazon listing says 745 W; none is labelled as a rated figure. Its climb rating is 25° on the maker store (about a 47% grade) and 35° on Amazon.

OOTD T10 vs KuKirin G2: which should I buy?

The KuKirin G2 if you want a stated 800 W rated motor, a lighter 57 lb scooter and a maker-authorized US store with a 12-month warranty. The T10 if you want the bigger 864 Wh battery and 11-inch tires, and accept that support runs through the Amazon seller and that it ships limited to 15.5 mph. Neither has a UL 2272 certificate we could find.
