What this site is

Ebike Oracle publishes editorial information about electric bikes and the laws that govern them, for research purposes. It is a publication, not a shop, a dealer, or an adviser. We do not sell or ship e-bikes, we do not take orders, and we hold no stock.

Accuracy, and its limits

We work from manufacturer specifications, primary statutes, and named third-party measurements, and we cite what we use. Even so, specifications, prices, availability, and laws all change, sometimes between our last check and your reading.

Always verify current pricing, local e-bike laws, and warranty terms with the retailer or manufacturer before you buy. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. The law pages summarise statutes for a general reader; they are not a substitute for reading the statute or asking a lawyer about your situation.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you make based on it.

Affiliate links

Many links to retailers are affiliate links. If you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and that commission does not influence how a bike is scored or ranked. The affiliate disclosure names every programme we are part of, and the methodology page explains how ranking is kept separate from it.

Text, editorial scores, page structure, and original graphics on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote us with attribution and a link. Republishing pages wholesale, or reusing them to train or populate a competing product, is not permitted. Product photography and brand marks belong to their respective owners and appear here under the terms their sources allow.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it, and no aggressive scraping. Ordinary crawling that respects our robots.txt is welcome, including by AI crawlers we permit there.
