Ebike Oracle is an independent e-bike review publication for buyers in the US, UK, and EU — focused on the categories where pre-purchase research matters most: cargo, folding, family, and commuter electric bikes.
If you build or sell e-bikes — or anything closely adjacent (batteries, racks, helmets, lights, finance, insurance) — here's how we work with brands.
How we work with brands
Affiliate partnerships. The default. Every retail link on the site is routed through a tracked /go/{slug} redirect with rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" per the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). We work directly with brands and through the major networks (Awin, Impact, Amazon Associates, ShareASale, CJ, Refersion). Every active program is listed on the affiliate-disclosure page.
Sponsored content. Dedicated review pages or category placements with clear "Sponsored by [Brand]" labeling. Sponsored pages are kept separate from the editorial scoring rubric. Pricing is per-piece and depends on category, scope, and timing — get in touch for a rate sheet.
Exclusive reader discount codes. Persistent codes (90-day minimum) that we cite on the relevant review pages. Codes pair well with affiliate tracking and typically convert better than commission-only arrangements.
Seasonal placements. Black Friday, Memorial Day, Father's Day, and end-of-year holiday peaks. Brands offering boosted commission rates or stronger reader codes during these windows get prominent placement in timed buyer guides and roundups.
Launch coverage. Pre-embargo briefings, first-look reviews, and category-leading bike profiles. If you're launching a new model in one of our covered categories, send the spec sheet in advance and we'll plan the review around the launch window.
Brand pages. A dedicated brand landing page on Ebike Oracle that aggregates current reviews of a brand's lineup with a single revenue path for affiliate-program partners. Useful for brands with three or more bikes in our covered categories.
Custom arrangements. Co-branded comparison guides, paid buyer-guide sponsorships, lead-generation deals for finance and insurance partners, custom data licensing of our state-by-state legality dataset, newsletter placements once that ships — if you have a specific arrangement in mind that isn't listed above, ask.
What we cover
- Categories: cargo, folding, family, commuter. Mountain and gravel are lighter touch — we cover them when they overlap with commuter or family-utility use cases.
- Markets: US (primary), UK, EU. Regulatory frameworks for all three markets are handled in code — every review reflects the correct classification for the buyer's region.
- Formats: scored long-form reviews, head-to-head comparison guides, category landing pages, state-by-state legality guides at /laws, buyer guides, glossary terms, calculators.
Editorial standards
Every editorial review is scored on a public five-dimension rubric — Power, Range, Cargo, Value, Build — explained in full on the methodology page. Editorial scores follow the rubric, not commission rates. Sponsored content carries its own "Sponsored by [Brand]" label and is held to the same factual-accuracy standards as editorial.
We publish the rubric publicly for a reason: it makes the editorial work citable, defensible, and immune to the credibility erosion that affects review sites which mix sponsored and editorial signal without disclosure. The result is a site that's worth being featured on.
