Ranked #4 in Best Electric Scooters With a Seat for Adults (2026).

At a glance
How we estimate range
We estimate range by dividing the battery's capacity in watt-hours by 22 to 27 watt-hours per mile. That band comes from the middle half of 32 full-speed range tests that eRideHero and RiderGuide published for 26 commuter scooters, adjusted to a rider of about 175 to 180 lb on city streets with stops and small hills. We have not ridden these scooters ourselves. Makers that publish their test conditions rate range for a 150 to 165 lb rider at about 9 to 10 mph on flat pavement at 77°F; in the full-speed tests, scooters covered a median 59% of the advertised range. You will get less in the cold, on steep hills or if you weigh more, and more if you ride slower.
The numbers
Gyroor C1 Electric Scooter with Seat is a folding, seated electric scooter for riders 12 and up that scores 6.7/10 on our editorial rubric, last verified on October 19, 2026. Amazon listed it at $300 as of October 22, 2026. Prices change often, so treat that as a snapshot. On Amazon it currently ranks #46 Best Seller in Electric Scooters. It pairs a 450 W motor and a 270 Wh battery, rated for a claimed range of up to 20 miles and a top speed of 15.5 mph. We estimate about 10 to 12 miles a charge for a 175 to 180 lb rider at full speed, because advertised ranges are measured with lighter riders at lower speeds. Its 15.5 mph top speed as shipped is above California's 15 mph scooter limit, so California riders must hold it to 15. New Jersey's legal e-scooter is a stand-up scooter, so a seated model is not one there. It is under New York's 20 mph e-scooter limit. Scooters are not e-bikes, so the US e-bike classes do not apply. The scooter is rated for riders up to 265 lb. It rides on 12-inch air-filled tires, with a front drum and a rear disc brake, per Gyroor. The seller states UL 2272 certification (on the Amazon listing or the maker's own site); we could not verify it in the certifier's directory. It best suits seated errands of up to about 10 miles.

- Seated errands of up to about 10 miles

The facts that matter
The facts that matter
- Speed: Gyroor's page says 15.6 mph in its text and shows three modes of 9.3, 12.4 and 15.5 mph; the Amazon listing says "19mph". At 15.5 mph it is just over California's 15 mph limit (Vehicle Code §22411), so use the 12.4 mph mode there, and under New York's 20 mph line, whose definition counts a seat (VTL §114-e). New Jersey's legal e-scooter is stand-up only. Scooters are not e-bikes.
- Range: 36 V and 7.5 Ah, 270 Wh by our arithmetic. Against claims of 20 miles (Amazon) and 22 (Gyroor's text) we estimate about 10 to 12 miles at full speed for a 175 to 180 lb rider.
- Brakes: Gyroor's infographic shows a front drum and a rear disc; Amazon's product table says only "Rear Braking".
- Load: 265 lb, and Gyroor says it suits riders 12 and up. Neither Gyroor nor Amazon gives the scooter's weight.
- Safety: The listing states UL 2272; we could not verify it in the certifier's directory. No CPSC recall found for the Gyroor C1 as of October 2026 (Gyroor's only CPSC recall, in 2022, was its C3 e-bike). Gyroor's warranty is 1 year, 6 months on the battery.
Who it suits
Who it suits
Riders who want air tires and a basket on a seated scooter at a lower price than the Gotrax A5 ($379.99 as of Oct 22, 11:10 AM EDT, subject to change), and who accept a thin ratings history. Gyroor's own store charged more than Amazon on October 19, 2026. Our seat guide compares the seated picks.
